About this service
This group of classical site-of-lesion tests is used when the basic audiogram leaves a question open. SISI assesses sensitivity to small intensity changes, Tone Decay testing looks for abnormal adaptation, ABLB compares loudness growth between ears, and Reflex Decay examines whether the acoustic reflex fades abnormally. Each helps distinguish a cochlear cause from a retrocochlear one, guiding whether onward imaging or an ENT referral is warranted.
