About this service
CAEP records responses generated by the auditory cortex rather than the brainstem, which means it can demonstrate that speech-level sound is actually arriving at the listening centres of the brain. It is particularly valuable for verifying benefit in an infant already wearing hearing aids, and for cases where behavioural results and parental report do not agree.
